When I embarked on my coaching journey, my beginnings were not without self-consciousness. Having witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of coaching, I didn't know how to explain to folks why I left a serious profession like the law to go into…coaching.

I got some strange looks, for sure. Back then, it felt like people viewed coaching as some scam that only wealthy people from California paid for, along with their tarot card reading and ayahuasca ceremonies.

Now, most people have moved on from those beliefs due to the ubiquitousness of coaching programs on and offline. But, it still battles an image crisis, thanks to impostors claiming to be coaches when they are anything but.
