Dear Worthy Woman,

Guess what?? We're moving again.

My family relocated from the East to the West Coast three years ago, and early next year, we'll be reversing course, heading back East.

The nomadic life wasn't exactly in our five-year plan, but here we are.

Like all moving families with children, we've started the familiar dance of researching neighborhoods, schools, and community amenities. However, as I'm sure you know, being a mom of color comes with an extra layer to almost everything, including the home search process.
