Dear Worthy Woman,

We have a family trip coming up. And because the Insta-targeting gods know about the trip, too, I've been scrolling past the same ad for a toddler carrier for a few weeks now.

Still, I haven't pulled the trigger.

I thought Baby Girl had outgrown her baby carrier days, but now she's in a new toddler phase where she wants to be held constantly, especially when we're exploring new places.

So when we're on our family trip, I know that despite having a perfectly good stroller, she'll want me to carry her through city streets and tourist attractions.

That means I also know I'm going to curse myself for not buying the damn carrier. But I keep hesitating.

I thought it was just about the money. I mean, do I really need a carrier? Is buying another one just a waste?

But it's not about the money. Not really. This hesitation is about something deeper.
