Woke Up Worthy wasn’t born out of thin air. It emerged from a real, noticeable gap I observed in the coaching world—a space that seemed to overlook the unique challenges faced by women of color.

Before I even thought of this brand, I had numerous heart-to-heart conversations with women of color echoing a familiar frustration: there was something off with their career or life, but they had no clear way forward, especially with the stacked deck of limited time and even scarcer resources.

I experienced that same frustration. In 2014, I was a young, seemingly successful attorney —on paper. But beneath the job title, brunch dates, happy hours, and vacation posts, I was grappling with a truth I wasn’t prepared to acknowledge. I was truly unhappy. And I didn’t think I had the resources, time, or know-how to change it.

In a move that felt daring at the time, I dove into something completely out of my comfort zone—a conference called the World Domination Summit.
